Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Walker, MI
Pay: $24–26/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm or 8:00am–5:00pm (Onsite)

This established manufacturing company has been a long-time presence in the West Michigan business community. The team operates in a collaborative, down-to-earth office environment with a business casual dress code (jeans are welcome). Responsibilities
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for full-cycle AP and supporting the accounting team with vendor payments and invoice processing.

  Process vendor invoices and perform three-way matching

  
  


• 
  

  Handle approximately 30 invoices per week, with a strong focus on accuracy

  
  


• 
  

  Enter invoices into the ERP system

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with payment processing via ACH and check runs

  
  


• 
  

  Help determine invoices to be included in check runs

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain organized electronic records and assist with the transition from paper to digital filing

  
  


• 
  

  Save and manage invoices as PDFs for electronic documentation

  
  


• 
  

  Review and sort spreadsheet data as needed for tracking and reporting

  
  

Qualifications

Required:

• 
  

  At least 2 years of Accounts Payable experience

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with digital invoice processing and electronic filing

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to organize and sort data within spreadsheets

  
  


• 
  

  Strong attention to detail and ability to manage manual processes

  
  

Preferred:

• 
  

  Manufacturing industry experience

  
  


• 
  

  Advanced Excel skills
