Key Responsibilities of the Controller

• Oversee all accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, payroll, cash receipts, and fixed assets


• Lead monthly and annual close processes in compliance with GAAP


• Supervise and mentor an accounting team driving collaboration and continuous improvement


• Prepare and present accurate financial reports for leadership and the Board


• Lead budgeting, audits, regulatory reporting, internal controls, and cash/investment management

Ideal Background for the Controller

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA strongly preferred


• 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience with strong GAAP knowledge


• Collaborative, hands‑on leader with strong analytical and organizational skills
