Position Overview
The Accounts Payable Specialist will manage AP activities related to trust and personal entities, distinct from standard operating accounts payable. This is a forward‑facing role that requires sound judgment, strong follow‑through, and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with care.
Key Responsibilities
- Process approximately 20–40 invoices per day with accuracy and consistency
- Manage utilities, vendor invoices, and payments tied to trust and personal entities
- Ensure all transactions impacting bank accounts are accurately recorded
- Apply payments and maintain documentation using Bill.com and QuickBooks Desktop
- Maintain strict confidentiality across all financial records and activities
- Serve as a reliable, professional point of contact within a forward‑facing AP function
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and consistent follow‑through
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
- Calm, steady, and positive demeanor
- Comfortable working in a multi‑entity environment
- Degree not required
- Candidates with frequent job changes or limited AP depth may not be a fit
