OVERVIEW OF THE AP SPECIALIST ROLE:

The Accounts Payable Specialist will handle day-to-day AP operations, support vendor communications, and assist with month-end close activities. This role plays an important part in ensuring accurate and timely financial processing.

AP SPECIALIST KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process and code invoices received through the AP inbox


• The AP Specialist will prepare ACH payments and assist with general ledger reconciliations


• Support credit card expense processing


• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries


• Assist with month-end close and grant-related documentation as needed

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE AP SPECIALIST ROLE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience


• 2+ years of accounts payable experience


• Experience with accounting software systems


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Fully onsite, Monday–Friday
