Position Overview
The Controller is a critical member of the finance leadership team, responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and process improvements across a global organization. This role partners closely with the CFO, supports strategic initiatives, and helps scale the finance function as the business grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, AP, AR, and close processes
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Lead process improvement initiatives, automation, and reporting enhancements
- Support ERP optimization and ongoing systems improvements
- Partner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Support integration efforts related to acquisitions and business growth
- Manage, mentor, and develop accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting
- ERP experience required (Infor LN a plus)
- Process driven mindset with comfort leveraging automation and technology
- Hands on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment
