Payroll Manager Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee end-to-end, in-house payroll processing for roughly 150 employees on a weekly and/or biweekly schedule
• Administer both union and non-union payroll, ensuring adherence to collective bargaining agreements
• Manage, audit, and maintain payroll records within ADP to ensure accuracy and on-time processing
• Handle payroll taxes, deductions, garnishments, and benefit withholdings
• Collaborate closely with HR and Accounting on employee updates, reporting, and reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and union payroll regulations
• Generate payroll reports and assist with internal and external audits as required
Payroll Manager Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on payroll experience, including full-cycle processing
• Proven experience working with ADP is required
• Background in the construction industry is required
• Strong expertise in union payroll and collective bargaining agreements
• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, cross-functional working style
