Client in the public sector is seeking an Accountant to assist with fixed asset cleanup, general ledger reconciliations, and financial data organization during a short-term stabilization project. Salary is $65-71k, DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTANT:
- The Accountant will support fixed asset cleanup and reconciliation efforts
- The Accountant will perform general ledger cleanup and complex account reconciliations
- Assist with bank reconciliations and financial record accuracy
- Support digitization and organization of financial documentation as time permits
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ACCOUNTANT
- GL accounting experience with strong reconciliation skills
- Fixed assets experience required
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables required
- Government or municipal accounting experience is a plus, but not a must
Salary is $65-71k, DOE
