Staff Accountant
Location: Bakersfield, CA (Onsite)
Salary: $60,000 – $72,000 DOE

This is more than a traditional staff accounting role. You’ll gain exposure across multiple areas of accounting while working closely with leadership and operations to support accurate financial reporting.

The Opportunity

As a Staff Accountant, you’ll assist with core accounting functions, month-end processes, and financial reporting while helping maintain accurate records across the organization. This role offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to grow within a stable business.

What You’ll Do

• 
  

  Assist with general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations

  
  


• 
  

  Support month-end close and preparation of financial reports

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain fixed asset, prepaid, and accrual schedules as needed

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash reconciliations

  
  


• 
  

  Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting

  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 
  

  2–4+ years of accounting experience

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of general ledger and month-end close processes

  
  


• 
  

  Proficiency in Excel and accounting software

  
  


• 
  

  Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
