Job Responsibilities

In this Payroll Specialist position, you will:

• Process biweekly payroll for 500+ Massachusetts employees


• Review and validate employee time sheets, ensuring accuracy before upload


• Coordinate with department managers to resolve payroll discrepancies


• Assist with payroll‑related reporting during month‑end close

Background Expected of the Payroll Specialist

• Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent experience (2+ years)


• 3+ years of payroll processing experience


• Experience with UKG or similar system is a major plus


• Strong attention to detail and comfort working in a fast‑paced nonprofit environment
