Creative Financial Staffing is working with a well-known retail establishment in Cambridge, MA to identify a Controller to lead their accounting functions..

• This position reports directly to the CEO and handles all accounting and finance functions; total control of the process


• Great partnership with the store merchandising department and the community at large

Responsibilities of the Controller:

• Own the month-end close including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and fixed assets


• Create reports for the CEO and other leaders


• Process payroll for the team (>15 employees)


• Analyze expense categories and create corresponding dashboards


• Correspond with investment advisors

Background Expectations for the Controller:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or experience equivalent


• 5+ years in accounting with 2+ years owning the close


• Ability to work independently on the accounting process


• Experience in NetSuite is a plus

Salary Range:
$130,000 - 150,000
