Program Manager – Residential Services
Lead a team of residential support staff and an Assistant Program Manager to provide exceptional service and a supportive, therapeutic environment for residents while ensuring regulatory compliance. This essential role in the Community Developmental Services division drives program development, supervises staff, manages resources, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to achieve program goals.
Job Duties
Manage all aspects of household operations, including maintenance, budgeting, and transportation.
Ensure safe, person‑centered supports for individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
Directly supervise an Assistant Program Manager, providing coaching and guidance.
Schedule and supervise staff to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
Monitor daily operations, documentation, and treatment plan progress for accuracy and outcome measurement.
Serve as the primary point of contact between program, families, and interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure clear communication and collaborative problem‑solving.
Qualifications, Skills & Competencies
High school completion or equivalent required; BA preferred.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in related work.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
Demonstrated ability to earn trust and listen effectively.
Experience leading teams and leading team members.
Workplace Environment
Variable scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and sharing an on‑call rotation.
CPR, First Aid, crisis prevention/deescalation, medicine administration, and other trainings required at the agency’s discretion.
Work may occur in a variety of settings and can include transporting individuals who may present challenging behaviors.
Regularly required to operate a motor vehicle for local and regional travel.
Compensation & Benefits
Full‑time, exempt position starts at $26.33/hour (annualized to $54,766) and includes comprehensive benefits including paid time off, employer‑sponsored health, dental, life, and disability insurances; a 403(b) retirement plan with generous employer match; and educational benefits such as tuition reimbursement and student loan repayment.
