Job Description
We’re looking for a hands‑on leader with strong data center and low‑voltage experience. This role oversees field teams, safety, scheduling, and quality across large‑scale projects.
Core Responsibilities
Manage 5‑week look‑ahead schedules, labor forecasting, and daily progress tracking
Handle change management, RFIs, and documentation
Lead safety oversight, compliance, and incident investigations
Track goals, budgets, and project milestones
Perform ISP fiber audits; working knowledge of OTDR
Hire, train, and evaluate field technicians
Act as senior SME for low voltage, structured cabling, and fiber installations/audits
Advanced Responsibilities (Senior-Level Scope)
10+ years construction management; 5+ years in Data Centers
Strong focus on safety and OSHA compliance
Knowledge of:
Cabling standards, labeling, documentation
Rack/stack, infrastructure layouts
Quality control, punch‑list resolution, and preventative maintenance
Vendor and cross‑trade coordination
Direct on‑site oversight of rack/stack and cabling teams
Coordinate structured cabling installs, re‑routes, and clean‑ups
Monitor workmanship, labeling accuracy, and pathway management
Conduct daily walk‑throughs to identify hazards or inefficiencies
Support new build‑outs and expansions (containerized + fixed facilities)
Perform on‑site audits
Required Skills & Experience
Union experience not required
Experience managing 60–100+ field technicians
Data Center (new build or retrofit) experience strongly preferred
Proficient with MS Office, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, SPI/CPI
Nice to Have
Cabling & Network Certifications
OSHA Certification
Direct Placement Roles:
Compensation:
$110,000 to $130,000 per year annual salary.
