Position Summary:
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for the daily operations of the Geneva warehouse, including receiving, shipping, inventory, and logistics coordination of industrial machinery. This role plays a key role in ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse operations that supports machine movement within the US.
Primary Responsibilities:
Take ownership of daily task planning and execution on the warehouse floors, ensuring priorities are clear and work is completed efficiently
Perform physical handling of machinery, including loading, unloading, staging, and storage
Process shipping of spare parts as necessary with Fedex, UPS, etc
Identify inventory or process issues and drive corrective actions
Serve as point of contact for logistics execution and issue resolution for machines in the US including LTL, TL, or other logistics arrangements
Drive safety culture to ensure compliance with OSHA and internal requirements
Secondary Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment
Support implementation and continuous improvement of work standards and ERP system
Work closely with Service, Finance, and Operations to support business needs
Assist with packing, crating, and preparing machinery for domestic shipments
Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates or higher in a related field preferred
3+ years of hands-on experience with receiving, shipping, and inventory
Forklift operation experience required (Training and certification will be provided)
Understanding of basic warehouse safety and compliance standards
Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, standing, and operating equipment
Experience with moving industrial equipment highly preferred
