Senior Litigation Associate (West Palm Beach)
Distinct | North America, West Palm Beach, FL, United States
Senior Litigation Associate
West Palm Beach, Florida
$125,000 to $155,000
There’s a point where you stop asking “can I do this?”
And start asking… “why am I not doing more of it?”
You’re already running cases. Talking to clients. Taking depositions without breaking a sweat.
You just don’t always get the space to own it properly.
This role gives you that.
You’ll be handling your own files end to end. Arguing motions. Leading depositions. Sitting in mediations where your voice actually matters. And when something needs stepping up on… you’re not waiting to be asked twice.
It’s a solid insurance defense team. Proper work coming in. Not chaos. Not one partner hoarding everything.
People know what they’re doing.
They do like people in the office. Four days once you’re up and running.
But it means decisions get made quicker. You’re not chasing replies all afternoon. You just walk over, ask, and get on with it.
There’s also a bit of honesty here.
You’ll get feedback. Sometimes direct.
Most people who join end up liking that more than they expected.
What you’ll be doing:
Running your own caseload
Depositions, mediations, motion work
Working directly with clients and adjusters
Stepping in for partners when needed
What they’re looking for:
3 to 7 years in litigation, ideally insurance defense
Medical malpractice experience is helpful but not essential
Someone who can think through a case and take ownership of it
Clear communicator who’s comfortable being visible
