$1,250 for advanced degrees + $80 per hour of graduate level credits (BA + 96 hours max, MA + 96 hours max); $500 for additional advanced degrees beyond Master’s

Job Description
The Job Goal is to provide educational leadership through the Chandler Unified School District curriculum and to facilitate learning that challenges and supports all students in an equitable and safe environment, meeting the District mission and vision.
Responsibilities
Deliver IEP‑focused consultation services to preschool teachers in district preschool classrooms and Head Start programs.
Assist partners in determining the mode and intensity of instruction needed to address children’s IEP goals, and to embed these objectives within typical routines.
Model, create, or secure step‑by‑step explanations of effective teaching strategies for IEP goals, ensuring partner understanding and correct application.
Monitor children’s responses to strategies, adjusting or replacing them as necessary.
Support partners in becoming active participants of the IEP team.
Develop and maintain partnerships with other adults and professionals who provide direct services to children with IEPs.
Manage a caseload of children with IEPs across multiple preschool programs.
Maintain accurate, complete, and legible documentation of consultation visits, communications, travel, and outcomes as required by law and district policy.
Keep thorough records of locations, duration, and outcomes of consultation services, demonstrating leadership in planning, communication, and monitoring of child progress.
Take reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
Utilize basic knowledge of computers, software, and applications.
Meet any additional specific job requirements indicated by the District.
Qualifications
Arizona Teaching Certificate – Early Childhood Special Education
AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Minimum 2 years of teaching as an early childhood special education teacher
Appropriate approved areas/endorsements as required by the District
Knowledge of computer applications
