Position Summary
As a Realty Project Coach, you will join our Realty Execution team for Walmart US. Your primary responsibilities include delivering store and club remodels, new stores, clubs, and special projects across the US. You will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet our high quality standards. This role requires traveling to projects throughout the US.
Responsibilities
Influencing Others:
Motivate your team to meet timelines and deliverables. Encourage collaboration and teamwork among associates, and resolve concerns raised by store leadership, suppliers, and associates.
Project Ownership:
Own the execution of projects in your assigned stores. Communicate plans, changes, and obstacles to key stakeholders and minimize impact on store operations.
Develop Associates:
Provide supervision and development opportunities for team members, listen to ideas and concerns, evaluate talent, and mentor associates while identifying career paths.
Supervise hourly team members and handle escalations with store leadership to keep projects on track.
Collaborate with store leadership to manage project resources and schedule.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, supporting ethics and integrity in business processes.
Build relationships with key stakeholders, identify business needs, and carry out necessary processes and practices to monitor progress.
Key Qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge of construction remodels, project management, space management, or store design.
Experience leading people, projects, initiatives, or cross‑functional teams.
Job Details
Shift:
Primarily overnight; night shifts average 10 to 12 hours.
Travel:
Frequent travel up to 1,000 miles. Expect to be away from home 80% of the time, or for 17‑21 days at a time, based on project workload.
Salary:
Annual range $60,000 – $110,000. Additional compensation may include performance bonuses and stock options.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 1 year of experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area, OR 3 years of related experience.
Complete all job‑required training and assessments (e.g., Academy, Open Door).
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business or related field.
1 year’s experience leading cross‑functional teams.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
