This position will support the credit recovery program.
Schedule
Hours: 7:45 AM – 12:45 PM, Teaching June 10 – July 21 (Monday through Thursday only). First semester 6/10–6/30. Second semester 7/1–7/21.
Needs for this position may change and are based on student enrollment and student needs.

*Job Type: Certified – Position – Special Education Teacher, High School.
Job Type Description
The successful applicants will work with students with LD, BD, MM, or MM in accordance with their IEP, along with other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Salary Schedule
Berkeley County Schools Teacher Pay Scale based upon degree level and verified years of experience.
Qualifications Requirements
Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, and demonstrate the knowledge and ability to be a qualified and effective candidate for the vacancy.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree. Holds or must be able to obtain WV teacher certification in Multi-Categorical special education. Experience with behavior modification is preferred.
Additional Job Information: If a certified candidate is unavailable for this position, then an applicant who is eligible for a first-class permit, alternative certification, Teacher-in-Residence, or a perm sub can be considered.
