We’re Hiring: Human Resources Generalist
Do you love helping people feel welcome, supported, and set up for success? Are you the kind of person who can juggle multiple tasks without dropping the ball and still keep a smile on your face? If yes, you might be the HR superstar we’re looking for! We’re adding a brand-new Human Resources Generalist position to our team due to growth (not a backfill!), which means you’ll get to bring fresh ideas and make a big impact right away.
What You’ll Be Doing (a.k.a. Your Day-to-Day)
Rolling out the red carpet for new hires during onboarding
Partnering with managers on employee relations, especially when tough conversations come up
Keeping us compliant and organized with policies, benefits, and leave administration
Managing HR systems and data (yep, we love a good spreadsheet or HRIS dashboard!)
Being the go-to person for clear, kind, and professional communication
What Makes You a Great Fit
Communicates with clarity and kindness, even in tough situations
Can juggle multiple projects and deadlines without breaking a sweat
Has experience supporting managers through disciplinary actions or performance issues
Is tech-savvy and confident navigating multiple software platforms (Google Workspace, HRIS, etc.)
Has functional knowledge of both Illinois and Indiana employment laws
Brings either a degree in HR/Business or at least 2 years of HR experience
