Compensation
Rate: $50-52 per hour

Pay Frequency: weekly

Hours
Hours: Monday-Saturday 10 hours/day

Shift: Day shift

Weekends: Sunday work possible

Project Scope
This position provides full‑time safety oversight for an active solar installation project. The Safety Coordinator will maintain a strong daily field presence, supporting onsite crews and ensuring all work is performed in compliance with OSHA and project‑specific safety requirements. The role includes leading daily safety meetings, monitoring ongoing operations, and proactively addressing hazards associated with solar construction activities.

OSHA 30

Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)

Confined Space

Additional Requirements

Strong field presence and hands‑on safety leadership

Experience supporting active construction or renewable energy projects

Ability to lead daily toolbox talks and safety meetings

Knowledge of OSHA standards and site safety enforcement

Clear communication with site leadership and field personnel

Key Responsibilities

Provide on‑site safety coordination for solar installation activities

Lead daily safety meetings and toolbox talks

Monitor job site conditions and identify potential hazards

Enforce OSHA and site‑specific safety requirements

Support crews with safe work practices

Document safety observations, incidents, and corrective actions

Skills

Strong understanding of construction safety principles

Experience working in fast‑paced field environments

Ability to engage crews and enforce safety expectations

Effective communication and organizational skills

Knowledge Base
Experience in OSHA compliance, solar project safety oversight, construction hazard recognition, Lockout/Tagout procedures, confined space awareness, and daily field safety leadership.
