Pharmacy Technician – Children’s Medication Access Services Team

What You’ll Do
Receive and triage medication access requests through EPIC work queues and messages
Perform benefits investigations, including coverage determination, restrictions, and prior authorization requirements, including submitting and tracking prior authorizations
Conduct routine payor follow‑up and route denials or clinical escalations to the pharmacist and/or clinical team
Document all actions and outcomes accurately in EPIC and support workflow metrics while following standardized workflows and supporting team operations and process improvement
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Valid Idaho Pharmacy Technician License
Two (2)+ years' experience
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in prior authorization, specialty pharmacy or medication access
Strong organization, attention to detail, and time‑management skills
Ability to manage multiple cases in a deadline‑driven environment
EPIC experience or willingness to learn
