Location: Lake Elsinore, CA
Shift: 8:00am-5:00pm
Compensation: $25-30/hr
Employment Type: Full-Time
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Schedule: Mon-Fri; 8-5pm
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Contracts Clerk to support our accounting and deal processing operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of dealership financial transactions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and is committed to maintaining clean and accurate schedules while supporting overall business operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Process RDRs and post deals on a daily basis
Process manufacturer rebates accurately and timely
Verify down payments and ensure deal compliance prior to posting
Pay off trade-ins and prepare trade-in jackets
Handle floor trade and trade-in transactions
Post funding notices daily
Maintain and clean schedules on a weekly basis
Update notes in Reverse Risk (Tuesdays & Thursdays), including CIT, Vehicle A/R, Due Bills, Incentives, and Lien Payoffs
Review, reconcile, and submit schedules to management weekly
Qualifications:
Previous experience in automotive accounting, dealership operations, or similar role preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet daily/weekly deadlines
Knowledge of deal posting, funding processes, and trade-in/payoff procedures
Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) and accounting schedules is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Strong organizational and time management skills
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams
