Responsibilities
Organize and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy to address impairments and functional limitations, aiming to improve quality of life after injury or disease.
Perform PT assessments and implement treatment plans, adjusting as needed in collaboration with the patient and care team.
Apply appropriate modalities, therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance and neuromuscular re‑education per physician orders.
Document evaluations, treatment interventions, progress notes, and discharge plans; ensure accurate charting and communication with the multidisciplinary team.
Consider patient factors such as gender, age, cultural differences, and educational needs; provide patient‑centered education and obtain informed consent.
Maintain safety, infection control, and professional standards while delivering empathetic, patient‑focused care.
Requirements
Active physical therapy license in Montana and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Education: professional degree from a program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
Amiable personality with sound judgment and the ability to maintain an empathetic, patient‑centered attitude.
Must be able to work on‑site in Havre, MT and participate in a rotating shift pattern for a travel assignment.
