Salary: $44,292.82 - $57,197.14 yearly

Job Description
Cleans and maintains public areas of assigned location such as restrooms, campgrounds, parking lots, trails, beaches, etc.

Performs various manual labor tasks which may require specialized skill.

Installs, repairs and maintains signs (regulatory, historic, information) by digging holes, installing supports, and using hand or handheld power tools.

Plants, transplants, prunes, trims, fertilizes trees, flowers and shrubs; seeds lawns and gardens; sprays for insects and plant diseases; cuts grass, rakes leaves, waters plants as required for upkeep and beautification of public grounds.

Loads and unloads trucks (firewood, park supplies, equipment, etc.), physically or with dollies; unpacks and stores supplies in stockrooms or warehouses; takes periodic inventories.

Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and tools by washing, inspecting, tightening, lubricating and sharpening cutting edges.

Repairs and paints guard rails; sets up traffic controls; moves equipment; sweeps, collects, and removes trash.

Operates handheld power tools.

Installs attachments (mowers, plow blades, leaf catchers, vacuum cleaners) to tractors and/or trucks for grass cutting, roadway cleaning, snow removal, etc.

Operates motor vehicles (light vehicles, trucks) as required.

Operates camp registration offices, issues admission tickets, receives receipts, and maintains simple records.

Performs related duties as required.

Qualifications
First consideration will be given to those applicants that apply within the first 14 days.

Minimum Entrance Requirements: Applicants must have at least six months of full-time or equivalent part‑time experience in manual labor related to general construction or maintenance work.
