The Intermediate Garde Manger Cook II position is responsible for preparing and presenting cold food items with consistency, quality, and efficiency. This role requires good communication as well as at least 2 years of previous cold production experience, preferably in a high volume setting. Candidates should be able to prepare salads, dressings, appetizers, sandwiches, and cold sauces, executing items according to standardized recipes and plating guidelines.
The hourly rate range for this position is $30.20/hour to $30.80/hour. The starting rate is $30.20/hour. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who have remained in the position with Hyatt for four years or more, which is currently offered at $30.80/hour.

Qualifications
Experience in high-volume cold production
Ability to work in a fast-paced cold-temperature kitchen environment
Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred
Candidates should be able to perform all basic and intermediate knife skills
Working knowledge of cold food preparation techniques
Understanding of food safety standards and garde manger best practices
Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
Requires moderate supervision and training
Open schedule flexibility to include mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays required
