We are seeking a skilled and reliable
Line Cook
to join our culinary team. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and brand standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen.
This role is essential in delivering high-quality food and ensuring an excellent dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
Set up and stock assigned kitchen stations with necessary supplies
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet hotel/restaurant standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations at all times
Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
Monitor food inventory and communicate shortages to supervisors
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
Maintain a safe working environment and comply with health regulations
Work collaboratively with kitchen and service team members
Assist with prep work and cleaning tasks as needed
Qualifications
Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organization
Ability to follow recipes and instructions
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Team-oriented with positive attitude
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting
Ability to work in hot, fast-paced kitchen environment
Preferred Skills
Hotel or high-volume restaurant experience
Food Handler/Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Knife skills and prep experience
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
