When: May 26 – (5 hr.) Prep Day. May 27, 28, June 1-5, June 8-12, June 15-18: Hours are 7:45 am to 12:15 pm. Students will attend 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.

Purpose: This summer programming aims to provide academic opportunities for students to earn credit, as well as academic enrichment and support activities beyond the regular academic year. The RCMS Summer clerical aide will work with the program teachers, the health aide, and administrators. Monitoring attendance and entering data in Transact.

Qualifications

Ability to collect data and track progress

The candidate demonstrates:

A high level of professional commitment to the NCSD and RCMS vision and areas of academic focus;

Leadership skills and the ability to work closely and cooperatively with other team members;

A strong insight and understanding of the needs of middle school students;

The ability to work collaboratively and communicate with diverse groups;

A belief that all students can learn along with the belief that teachers impact outcomes

Performance Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls and emails promptly and provide basic information to parents and students.

Must be able to competently navigate through the online learning management system, SchoolsPLP, Transact and Infinite Campus.

May assist administration with attendance record keeping.

May assist with record keeping of employee absences and time sheets.

May assist with supplying needed materials to staff.

May assist with general filing and typing.

May assist with serving as a receptionist for visitors.

Salary Range: Current hourly rate
