
Radiology - X-Ray

This is a 13-week contract position for a Radiologic Technologist. The role involves providing technical skills in radiology and fluoroscopy, producing and processing images of various parts of the human anatomy to assist the radiologist in diagnosing diseases and injuries. The technologist will set proper exposure factors and position patients effectively to achieve diagnostic quality while adhering to A.L.A.R.A. guidelines.
Responsibilities
Operate a diversified combination of technical equipment and software for imaging procedures.
Prepare and administer contrast materials to patients for imaging tests.
Assist with special procedures and examinations as needed.
Specialize in image production for specific anatomy such as the chest, gastrointestinal tract, and orthopedic regions.
Engage in cross-training for additional modalities according to department policy.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Certified and registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
State licensure in radiography may be required, based on local regulations.
Completion of a Colorado adult protective services (CAPS) check.
