Professional Land Surveyor
Location: Bend, OR
Position Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities
Perform land surveys from field to finish, drafting topographic, ALTA, boundary, and plat surveys, writing land descriptions for legal documents, analyzing and processing field data, supervising technical staff, reviewing their work under technical supervision, providing quality assurance and quality control of deliverables, and integrating conventional and remote sensing methods, including UAS/drone survey and mapping.
Qualifications
Professional Land Surveying license in Oregon
3 or more years of professional surveying experience
Experience drafting topographic, ALTA, boundary, and plat surveys
Ability to write land descriptions for deeds, easements, leases, or other legal documents
Experience analyzing and processing field data
Record research skills
Skills
Strong communication skills
Experience reviewing tasks performed by others under technical supervision
Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Experience with Trimble Business Center preferred
Strong desire to own projects and solve problems in surveying
