Area Human Resources Coordinator

supporting Hyatt hotels in downtown Seattle: Hyatt at Olive 8, Grand Hyatt Seattle, and Hyatt Regency Seattle. You will create a memorable employment experience for our family of colleagues.

Responsibilities

Provide a welcoming and professional experience as the first point of contact for colleagues, candidates, and visitors.

Manage incoming calls, emails, and walk‑in inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

Support an excellent new‑hire experience through onboarding coordination and documentation.

Maintain colleague files and ensure accurate record‑keeping and data entry in compliance with company policies.

Assist with HR processes including recruitment coordination and employment support.

Coordinate colleague relations and recognition events and support colleague engagement initiatives.

Maintain organization and overall functionality of the HR office environment.

Assist with special projects and other administrative duties as needed.

Prepare colleagues who are departing with appreciative offboarding support.

Compensation
The hourly rate range for this position is $32.15 to $32.79 per hour. The starting rate is $32.15 per hour. After four years or more with Hyatt, the rate may increase to $32.79 per hour.

Qualifications

Strong desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment.

Refined verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to also communicate in Spanish is preferred.

Strong and thorough attention to detail with ability to multi‑task in a colleague‑focused environment.

Experience in HRIS, payroll, and applicant tracking systems is preferred.

Experience in Canva and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

1–2 years of Human Resources and/or Hospitality experience is preferred.
