Strong expertise in

PostgreSQL, SQL programming, AWS cloud databases, database design and optimization, data security, backup/recovery , and

Hasura for REST API integration .
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust, high-performance database solutions.
Manage and optimize

PostgreSQL

environments for maximum efficiency.
Implement and maintain

cloud-based database solutions

(primarily on

AWS ).
Develop and fine-tune complex

SQL queries , stored procedures, and triggers.
Ensure

database security, backup, and disaster recovery

processes are in place.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data architecture and integration.
Support REST API development using

Hasura

for real-time data access.
Troubleshoot performance issues and implement optimization strategies.
Stay current with emerging database and cloud technologies.
Required Qualifications
10+ years

of experience as a

Database Engineer

or in a similar technical role.
Strong hands-on experience with

PostgreSQL

database management.
Expertise in

SQL development, tuning, and performance optimization .
Experience with

AWS cloud services

(RDS, Aurora, S3, Lambda).
Proven ability in

database design, security, and data recovery

methods.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Certifications in

PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or AWS .
Familiarity with

Hasura

or other API gateway tools.
Experience with

NoSQL

databases or alternative data storage technologies.
Exposure to

CI/CD pipelines

and automation tools.
