Product Demonstrator Part Time

DESCRIPTION
Associate responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations. Acquires and maintains knowledge of products represented. Prepares, serves, and breaks down product, equipment, and supplies. Intercepts consumers and demonstrates products professionally while maintaining a consistent professional appearance.
Overview
The role is not expected to exceed 25 hours per week, and may change based on business or client needs.
Responsibilities
Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell products to consumers in a positive manner.
Effectively communicate product features and benefits.
Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
Set up and prepare event tables for execution.
Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
Complete expense reports per company policy.
Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents, including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:
Proficient in using and navigating personal computers or mobile devices with applications and internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Local food handlers permit may be required.
Physical Demands
Regularly stand and walk, use hands and fingers for handling, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk and hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step on ladders, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a fully laden demonstration cart, prepare foods and beverages with required appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies.
Supervisory Responsibilities
None.
Work Environment
Retail store environment with limited travel.
Language Skills
English is the primary language; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
Physical Appearance
Associate must present a neat, clean, and appropriately groomed appearance in accordance with specific retailer dress code requirements.
