Job Description
Assists anesthesia providers with patient assessment, monitoring, transporting, positioning, insertion of intravenous and other invasive lines, and airway management.
Maintains and troubleshoots anesthesia equipment malfunctions.
Ensures necessary equipment and supply inventory remain in stock.
Provides routine and emergency services for anesthesiologists.
Assists with schedule preparations, including emergent and urgent surgical procedures involving anesthesia.

Mon - Fri 5:30 am - 2pm

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals [Required]
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry [Required]
Knowledge and basic skills related to aseptic/ sterile technique and sterility of supplies [Required]
Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required]
Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]
Ability to appropriately monitor dosages and use clinical equipment [Required]
Education
High School Grad or Equiv [Preferred]
Associate [Preferred]
Technical/Vocational School [Preferred]
Field of Study
Completion of an Anesthesia Technologytraining program [Required]
Work Experience
1+ experience as an anesthesia tech [Preferred]
Additional Information
An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the stated degree requirement:
Completion of an Anesthesia Technologytraining program OR
1+ year experience as an anesthesia tech
Licenses and Certifications
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
Anesthesia Technician Certification (AT) [Preferred] OR
Certified Anesthesia Technologist (Cer. A.T.T.) [Preferred]
