Welder/Fitter
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter for a full-time position on the 1st shift from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. This role involves performing Mig and Flux Core welding primarily in flat positions, reading blueprints to layout jobs, and using hand and power tools. The ideal candidate must be open to assisting in various shop areas, including machine operation and shipping duties.
Responsibilities
Perform Mig and Flux Core welding primarily in flat positions.
Read and interpret blueprints for job layouts.
Use hand and power tools for various tasks.
Assist in other shop areas, including machine operation and shipping duties, as needed.
Fit large and small pieces of iron or steel together.
Essential Skills
Experience in Mig or Flux Core welding on mild and stainless steel.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience in job layout.
Familiarity with using hand and power tools, including grinders.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with overhead cranes.
Ability to change weld wire.
Pipefitting experience.
Proficient in using a Speed Square, assembly, hand tools, tape measure, fitting, weld, Mig welder, tack, structural steel, blueprint reading, Tig welding, torches, saws, plasma cutters, and Fcaw.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rittman, OH. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
