To perform a wide variety of clerical duties that requires independent judgment to accomplish in support of the staff members and/or operations of an organizational unit or program. Some discretion is required in the performance of these duties. Duties begin to expand in scope and complexity, and develop into departmental-program duties.

Location: School of Renewable Natural Resources, Baton Rouge, La. Minimum Requirements: Two years of experience in administrative services. For more information and Substitutions contact www.civilservice.louisiana.gov or the AgCenter HRM office.
Administrative Support: serve as secretary to Forestry, Wildlife, Fisheries, and Extension professors by assisting with typing correspondence, preparation of documents for mail outs, and sending/receiving faxes. Sort, log, and distribute incoming mail. Coordinate and administer the moto vehicle pool to include vehicle sign outs, log sheets, vehicle lists and reports. Order office supplies. Maintain and issue authorized keys to buildings. Maintain research project files.
Travel: Prepare in-state/out of state and international travel authorizations and advances. Process and submit travel reimbursement expense vouchers.
Accounts Payable: Review and process timely lacarte entries

ensuring all receipts are appropriate and in compliance with the purchase materials.
