Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a Business Analyst opportunity in Houston, TX. The company provides electric power, natural gas, and energy management services. It has approximately two million customers across the continental United States. Responsibilities for Business Analyst include but are not limited to
• Accurately posts all assigned manual and electronic payments to customer accounts.
• Daily research of check payments to determine corresponding customer account.
• Verify accuracy, research discrepancies and reconcile payment errors.
• Resolves and reports issues in a timely and accurate manner.
• Reconcile payments daily.
• Works on special projects as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Candidates for Business Analyst must meet the following requirements to be considered:
• Bachelor's degree (minimum required)
• Several years of prior work experience preferred (not entry level)
• Background in finance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or payment related roles strongly preferred (Candidates from non-finance industries are also considered if they demonstrate relevant transferable skills)
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to switch between tasks and adapt to changing priorities
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including: , VLOOKUP, Sorting and filtering data
• Willingness to learn proprietary internal systems (training provided)
• Completion of a Glider assessment as part of the hiring process

Pay Details:
$24.14 per hour
