Masters degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time, contract opportunity involves working across a district as one of just two OTs, supporting approximately 30 students and collaborating with staff to deliver Tier 1 supports. Key Qualifications:Valid or eligible Washington State Occupational Therapist (OT) license/certificationExperience working in school settings preferredStrong ability to collaborate with teachers and staff for Tier 1 student supportsMust provide professional references for district screeningAbility to work onsite (virtual roles are not available for this assignment)Cannot consider COTAs for this role Role Responsibilities:Deliver direct OT services to a caseload of around 30 students across the districtSupport and consult with educators to implement Tier 1 strategies in classroomsDevelop and update individualized plans and documentation according to district and state requirementsServe as a key member of the multidisciplinary team, participating in IEP meetings and collaboration effortsPromote student independence, participation, and success within educational settingsMaintain open communication with families, staff, and administrators This assignment allows you to become an essential resource for both students and colleagues, providing continuity, expert guidance, and individualized care.
