Description
Lockheed Martin Space, a leader in strategic defense, is looking for a dynamic and hardworking Programs Integration Lead to support the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program. This position will report to the FBM Propulsion, Structures, Ordnance, and Controls (PSOC) Life Extension 2 (LE2) Contracts Program Manager and will directly support the D5 Life Extension 2 (D5LE2) program leadership team. The role is located in Englewood, Colorado.
Responsibilities
As the PSOC LE2 Programs Integration Lead, you will:
Coordinate and integrate D5LE2 account performance, and control accounts in the FBM PSOC directorate ensuring customer contract and company requirements are met.
Drive exceptional performance across all existing and future contracts by evolving program management processes and tools.
Partner and collaborate with other FBM PSOC managers/leaders to ensure they understand the full portfolio of PSOC issues with government and customer representatives.
Lead a multifunctional team consisting of Cost Account Manager (CAM), Finance & Business Operations, Risk and Opportunity managers, subcontracts managers, engineers, and planners within the PSOC directorate Integrated Product Team (IPT), and mentor IPT stakeholders.
Develop and refine business processes, metrics, and communications to more effectively program manage contracts and organizational constructs with ownership and accountability throughout the directorate.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or an equivalent related engineering degree.
Demonstrated experience leading project teams.
Knowledge of program/project management, finance, planning, contracts, Earned Value Management (EVM), risk/opportunity management, quality, issue management, configuration and baseline control, and managing to performance metrics.
Cost Account Management (CAM) experience.
Desired Skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to build consensus among peers.
Project management experience.
Proposal submittal, fact finding, and negotiation experience.
Experience throughout the engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test and operational deployment).
Experience leading/ integrating solutions for geographically dispersed teams.
Experience leading cross‑functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Active DoD security clearance.
Security Clearance
This position requires a government security clearance; the candidate must be a US Citizen. Clearance level: Top Secret.
Location and Work Schedules
Location: Englewood, Colorado.
Work type: Onsite Full‑time.
Schedule: 9x80 every other Friday off.
Alternate work schedules are available (standard 40‑hour week or condensed schedules with additional time off).
