Job Description
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Inspector is responsible for ensuring all coated textile materials produced through extrusion coating meet required specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations.
Job Type:
Full time, onsite
Responsibilities
Perform in‑process and final inspection of coated fabrics
Identify, classify, and document defects
Measure and verify product characteristics
Record findings in quality logs
Segregate and label non‑conforming materials
Support investigations
Follow safety standards
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
1–3 years manufacturing or inspection experience required
Pre-employment physical, drug screen & background check required
Successful candidate will have strengths in the following:
Experience with coated textiles
Strong ability to identify defects and keen eye for detail
Ability to multitask
Safety-oriented
Self-starter and capable of working with minimal supervision
Basic computer skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent problem‑solving skills, organizational skills and time management skills
Team-oriented attitude and collaboration skills
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibrations.
The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
