Job Description
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating machinery and equipment with specified materials or solution(s).
Job Type:
Full time, onsite
Schedule:
Varies by shift and department
Responsibilities
Conform to all safety guidelines and procedures
Operate equipment according to SOP and specifications provided
Regulate machine speeds, temperature, air pressure, circulation flow and coatings to material(s), if applicable
Consistently check material to ensure in-depth quality measures
Assist in weekly preventative maintenance and cleanings
Perform barcode functions, as necessary
Operate fork‑lift or tugger (may apply)
All other duties, as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
Must be able to climb multiple steps, lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours
Must be willing and able to work as a team member
Basic reading, writing and math skills
Must be fit for a respirator, if applicable
Pre‑employment physical, drug screen & background check required
Successful candidates will have strengths in the following
Problem analysis and solving competencies
Team‑oriented
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibrations.
The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
