Overview
The Human Resources Intern (AI & People Analytics Focus) will support the evolution of a data-driven, technology-enabled People & Culture function. This role is designed for individuals with a strong interest in the intersection of human resources, artificial intelligence, and analytics, and will contribute to initiatives that enhance how talent is attracted, assessed, developed, and retained.
This position offers hands-on exposure to how AI is transforming HR, including talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee experience, and operational efficiency. The intern will partner closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, and Digital/IT teams to explore, test, and scale AI-driven solutions that improve decision-making and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
AI & HR Innovation
Support the evaluation, testing, and implementation of AI tools across HR (e.g., sourcing, screening, scheduling, employee insights)
Assist in identifying opportunities to automate manual processes and enhance efficiency using AI
Conduct research on emerging AI trends and best practices in HR and People Analytics
Contribute to pilot programs for AI-enabled solutions and summarize findings and recommendations
People Analytics & Insights
Analyze HR and recruiting data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
Support development of dashboards and reporting to inform talent and workforce decisions
Assist in building frameworks to measure quality of hire, candidate experience, and recruiting effectiveness
Talent Acquisition Enablement
Partner with Talent Acquisition to optimize sourcing strategies using AI-driven platforms
Support talent mapping and pipeline development efforts for critical roles
Assist in refining recruiter workflows and candidate engagement strategies through technology
Process & Operational Excellence
Document current HR processes and recommend improvements leveraging AI and automation
Support the development of standardized workflows, templates, and tools
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment across HR systems and processes
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong interest in artificial intelligence, technology, and the future of work
Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and translate insights into recommendations
Proficiency in Excel and/or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) preferred
Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., generative AI, automation platforms) or willingness to learn quickly
Strong communication skills with the ability to synthesize information clearly and concisely
Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
U.S. Pay Range
$23-35/hr
