Job Overview
Field Technician – Big Island, Hawaii. The role supports network performance, outage resolution, and continuous improvement across a wide geographic area. The position requires a blend of technical support, project management, and operational support while working independently and in a team setting.

Job Responsibilities

Provide technical support for network performance initiatives and outage resolution.

Tackle day‑to‑day improvement opportunities.

Take on smaller projects or sections of key initiatives, delivering accurate status updates.

Identify and recommend process improvements for maintenance and repair activities; assist in creating job aids, scopes of work, and procedural tools.

Enroll in and complete training requirements to stay current on systems and products.

Education and Work Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience required.

Relevant experience in wireless field operations and maintenance (2‑4 years preferred).

Experience with wireless telecommunications or related field (2‑4 years preferred).

Strong technical proficiency with Ericsson field equipment (preferred).

Acceptable areas of study include Vocational/Technical Training or related field (preferred).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Self‑motivated; demonstrates initiative to achieve company goals.

Basic leadership skills with ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail.

Flexible with evolving environments and priorities; willing to work day, night, and on-call.

Problem‑solving using creativity and innovation.

Operational knowledge of RF transmitters, antenna systems, AAV, fiber, microwave radio, and AC‑DC power systems.

Must meet DOT medical standards under 49 CFR Part 391.

Minimum age 18 years.

Legally authorized to work in the United States.
