Job Title:
Electrical Department Administrator
Reports To:
Electrical Division Leadership

General Description:
The Electrical Department Administrator provides administrative and operational support to the Electrical Division. This role is responsible for coordinating documentation, supporting payroll processes, assisting with job costing, and ensuring accurate data entry and reporting to support field and office operations.
Duties:
Provide daily administrative support to the Electrical Department
Assist with payroll processing, including timecard review, data entry, and coordination with HR/payroll teams
Support job costing by tracking labor hours, materials, and project-related expenses
Maintain and update project files, reports, and documentation
Utilize Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook) for reporting, tracking, and communication
Coordinate schedules, meetings, and internal communications for the division
Assist with onboarding paperwork and employee records as needed
Communicate with field personnel to gather and verify job-related information
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all data entered into company systems
Support compliance with company policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
1–3+ years of administrative experience (construction or electrical industry preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially
Excel
Basic understanding of payroll processes and timekeeping systems
Experience or familiarity with job costing and project tracking
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
Experience with construction or electrical operations
Familiarity with payroll/HRIS systems (ADP or similar)
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
