Responsibilities

Organize and conduct medically prescribed occupational therapy programs to guide individuals in improving quality of life after injury, disease, or loss of a body part, with attention to gender, age, culture, and educational needs.
Assess, plan, implement, and adjust OT interventions to promote functional independence and engagement in activities of daily living.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate goals, document progress, and support discharge planning and transitions.
Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes in the patient record.
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and activity modifications; adapt approaches to cultural and educational needs.
Contribute to program development and continuously apply best practices for outpatient OT services.
Requirements

Education: Graduate of an occupational therapy program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
Licensure: Licensed to practice OT in Montana (or eligible to obtain licensure)
Certification/Experience: No specific experience requirement stated; must meet Montana licensure and credentialing standards
License/Registration: Montana OT license (or active eligibility)
Additional: Ability to work in a day-shift, outpatient-focused setting; strong communication and empathetic patient-centered approach
Travel/Location: In-state travelers will not be considered unless located at least 250 miles from the assignment facility; out-of-state travelers eligible if distance criteria are met
