Schedule:
No nights, weekends, on‑call, or major holidays. Monday‑Friday day shift only.

Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists is looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team and support our providers in delivering high‑quality, compassionate healthcare. The Medical Assistant will perform all general MA duties (room patients, record vital signs, enter/update medications, verify allergies and list reactions, etc.). The MA works alongside our Providers and RNs to assist with procedures and keep accurate records in the EHR. The MA works in all clinic areas and locations as assigned.
Essential Functions
Educate pre‑/post‑operative patients per Provider’s instructions.
Draw and prepare injections, label as indicated, and record in the EHR.
Assist all Providers with procedures such as casting/splints and removal of sutures/staples.
Open and prep exam rooms, stock supplies as indicated, and clean exam rooms and autoclave instruments between patients.
Complete medical history and update surgical information accurately on all post‑operative patients.
Prep charts the day before or morning of surgery, including gathering ER notes, op‑notes, office notes from other providers, reviewing the present chart to assess necessary documents, determining required x‑rays, and reviewing the provider’s previous notes for directions.
Refill medications per provider protocols and direct questions to the specific provider.
Order tests – X‑rays, CT, US, MRI, lab draws – per provider request.
Qualifications
Medical Assistant Certification (Med Asst. Certified).
Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Med Asst. Registered.
Experience
1–2 years in a similar role, preferably in orthopedics.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent.
Licenses & Certifications
Basic Life Support.
Medical Assistant – Registered.
