SUMMARY
Performs day-to-day administration and compliance of the HR function, including recruitment-specific duties such as scheduling and conducting interviews, responding to candidates’ inquires and posting/closing jobs with Red Rock Behavioral Health Services. Manages the agency’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Serves as an integral member of the Red Rock BHS Human Resources team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Functions may include:
Responding to applicant inquiries
Scheduling phone and on-site interviews on behalf of the HR Manager: Recruitment and/or Red Rock hiring managers
Conducting phone interviews
Posting job descriptions internally and online to various job boards
Closing jobs by removing the postings and contacting candidates via email or phone
Attending area job fairs
Coordinating with outside temp firms to ensure coverage for last minute absences or difficult-to-fill positions
Collecting and tracking documents for various employee groups such as interns, Therapists-Under Supervision and contract physicians; andCollecting and tracking documents necessary for managing internships for the agency
Maintaining employee personnel files
Ensuring compliance with all appropriate policies and regulations
Tracking and filing all new hire paperwork, including completing I9’s and payroll-related documentation
Maintaining HR’s modules of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), including:
Entering all new hire entry, status changes, and terminations
Creating and analyzing reports regarding employee hires, terms and moves
Coordinating the off-boarding process
Assists with New Hire Orientation preparation
Establishes and maintains excellent employee relations within the organization
Provides assistance and follow-up on agency policies, procedures and documentation
Maintains discretion and confidentiality
Assists with special projects and tasks as needed
Performs other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Associates degree required, Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
Experience in Human Resources is preferred but not required
Patient, communicative team player who is detail oriented and has outstanding interpersonal skillsProactive, results-oriented individual with a sense of urgency balanced with quality work
Strong oral and written communication skills are a must
Strong computer and technical skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must have the ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
Must have the ability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 25 pounds
Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time
Ability to use telephone, PC, fax machine, copy machine, and printer
