Job Overview
Our client, a large Healthcare System throughout the Midwest, has multiple openings to support a project to upgrade their technology. The role involves replacing old PCs and upgrading to new devices in Windows 11. IT Technicians will work 1st shift on‑site in Grand Haven, MI.

Responsibilities & Skills

Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems (Windows and Mac) and across a range of software applications.

Swap out laptops/desktops and deploy Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Re‑image Windows 11 onto machines from Windows 10.

Assist all users with any logged IT related incident when called upon.

Take ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service to the customer as soon as possible; elevate incidents to other support teams when necessary.

Accurately record, update and document requests using the IT service desk system.

Install and configure new IT equipment.

Resolve incidents and upgrade different types of software and hardware.

Resolve incidents with printers, copiers, and scanners.

Maintain a first‑class level of customer service ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and in an appropriate manner.

Qualifications

Prior experience with Helpdesk, Desktop Support or PC Technician roles.

CompTIA Certifications desirable for this role.
