
PC Deployment / IT Desktop Support Technician

Overview
Our client a large Healthcare System throughout the Midwest has multiple openings to support a project to upgrade their technology. This will be replacing old PCs and upgrading to new devices in Windows 11. We are looking for IT Technicians that can work 1st shift on-site.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems (Windows and Mac) and a range of software applications.
Swap out laptops/desktops and deploy Windows 10 and Windows 11, including re-imaging Windows 11 from Windows 10.
Assist users with logged IT incidents and take ownership by performing problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes while restoring service as quickly as possible.
Escalate incidents to other support teams when necessary.
Record, update, and document requests in the IT service desk system.
Install and configure new IT equipment and resolve incidents with printers, copiers, and scanners.
Upgrade software and hardware as needed and maintain a high level of customer service.
Qualifications
Experience diagnosing and resolving software and hardware incidents (Windows and Mac) and a range of software applications.
Experience deploying Windows 10 and Windows 11, including re-imaging.
Ability to take ownership of issues, perform problem analysis, and implement effective fixes; strong customer service skills.
CompTIA Certifications are desirable for this role.

Workplace Type: Fully onsite position in St. Joseph, MI.
Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour. Eligibility for benefits applies to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment.
