
Personal Injury Paralegal

The Paralegal will support attorneys across all phases of personal injury and civil litigation. The Paralegal is an effective communicator, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that involves sensitive subject matter and complex case management. It requires close collaboration with attorneys, investigators, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently and effectively from intake through resolution.
Responsibilities
Draft pleadings, motions, and court filings in accordance with applicable court rules and deadlines
Coordinate with judges' offices and opposing counsel on scheduling, hearings, and case-related matters
Maintain litigation calendars and ensure all critical deadlines are tracked and met
Prepare discovery requests and responses, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission
Organize and manage discovery documentation throughout the lifecycle of each case
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing case updates and gathering necessary information
Maintain organized and up-to-date case files in the firm's case management system
Qualifications
3-5 years of civil litigation experience, including drafting motions, preparing discovery, reviewing records, scheduling, e-filing, and trial preparation
Prior experience in personal injury law
Proficient in legal calendaring
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Strong client relations and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with keen attention to detail
Technology savvy and proficient in Microsoft, including Excel and Word
