Pay:
$15–$17/hr
Hours:
15–30 hrs/week, flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Summary:
This seasonal maintenance role with Fort Wayne Parks & Recreation provides hands–on experience maintaining facilities and grounds along the Riverfront. Incumbents will perform janitorial, groundskeeping, and minor maintenance tasks while following City safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain buildings, restrooms, grounds, and assigned areas
Remove litter, debris, trash, and graffiti
Assist trades crews and operate equipment safely
Maintain work-related reports and records
Follow safety policies and guidelines
Drive one-ton or small utility trucks as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum 18 years old, with three years of high school completed
Effective communication skills, ability to follow instructions
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Valid Indiana Driver's License as required
Physical Requirements:
Frequently stand, walk, reach, handle objects, lift up to 75 lbs, and carry up to 25 ft
Exposure to dust, pollen, extreme temperatures, and occasional hazardous conditions
