Job Description
Join our dynamic Respiratory Therapy team providing comprehensive care to a diverse adult population, with some pediatric and neonatal exposure. This role requires strong ventilatory skills and the ability to work independently. The position encompasses responsibilities across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department settings.
Responsibilities
Manage ventilatory support for patients including ABG draws, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Nebulizers, and MDIs.
Provide support in outpatient settings, including nocturnal Pulse Oximetry and blood gas analysis.
Collaborate with medical staff and provide effective patient management during night shifts.
Participate in equipment management, including Hamilton Medical C1 & C3 Vents and GEM5000 ABG analyzer.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Respiratory Therapy specialty.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) acceptable.
Current certifications in BLS (AHA) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) are required.
Experience with ventilatory management and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
